The ACHD Education Team recently wrapped up our Curiosity Lab: Summer Intensives, an opportunity for students to receive hands-on learning opportunities in four S.T.E.M. fields. This summer we focused on the sciences of Aviation, 3D Printing, Natural Resources, and Electrical Engineering.
ACHD embraces experiential learning by combining traditional lecture-style classes with hands-on experiments, guest speakers who are experts in their field, and field trips to expand upon in-class learning. Our educators prioritize access to high-quality education for our students, and that means getting experience working with the 'tools of the trade'. From tiny moveable cameras that help airplane mechanics investigate the complicated internal systems of a plane to large telemetry poles that assist wildlife biologists in tracking and monitoring species, our students now have a greater understanding of the S.T.E.M. world.

We'd like to extend a massive THANK YOU to our collaborators, funders, and partners for Curiosity Lab: Summer Intensives
